well, i'm coming from no where and everywhere, really.... i've been traveling the country living out of a back-pack for the past 3 months. but i'm originally from arkansas. i dont really have a means of transportation right now, but i can get a ride occasionally... i need to bring my CYM up here soon and find someone to help me work on it... anyone that wants to help, i'd greatly appreciate it

Chuck the subaru guy? from what I hear he really did a rigging job on some kids FD painted 350Z blue. Just what I heard though. I would have thought the owner of Banzai racing would have been the rotary guy round here. he's 25 minutes from FT wayne.

 

a rigging job? that blue fd put down some mad power before tuned. and he didnt even bother tunning it right. how would that be chucks rig job?

 

didn't even bother tuning it right? That in itself sounds like someone doesn't know what they are doing. I think it's safe to say that we all know a rotary no matter stock or moded needs more tuning than almost any motor around. I heard he did a rigging job on all the electrical but it sound like it was more than just the electrical. Did he "Chuck mod" that thing too?

 

chuck built the engine and thats it. why would he mod someone elses car? just cause you build someones engine doesnt mean you tune it for them too. lol

 

Chuck is your room mate and you don't even know that he's moded other people's car? where have you been dude? All of the fort wayne crew that followed him up to several banzai meets said the they all had the "Chuck Mod" done to their cars. Dont mean to sound shitty man I just wanted to know if what I heard was true bout that blue FD. I've known chuck for eight or nine years now and I know for a fact that the whole crew he was crusin with from the Fort had him work on their cars because they told me. Hell I use to race NEISCC with Chuck when all he had was a grey FB.

Who reinstalled that kids motor? maybe it was that person who "rigged up" his electrical system as I was told. Someone had to do some tuning to make sure it would stay running.

 

GREAY FB you mean general tojo. lol the chuck mod? oh hmm what would that be lol a special majic thing? not to sound like an ***. but when everyone still had there rx's out chuck didnt touch anyone elses car. iv known hiim for five years and i know when we all went to banzai it was within the last 3 years. and chuck didnt touch anyones car he would give constructive critisism. he is a busy guy why would he bother "modding" others cars ?

 

Chuck has built at least 75 rotary engines himself, and for well known companies who keep coming back for more, he doesn't rig anything, he built my Mikuni on his bench, I bolted it on and my car runs hard without ever being tuned, any questions about his ability can be taken care of with a quick sprint against his SP RX3.

I have know Chuck for about 8 years and he has done a lot to help many others and usually at a financial loss, I believe that's why he took a year off to run his Subie without distractions.

He is a perfectionist, but many of the 7 crowd don't want to spend money, who's fault is it if he can't convince them to buy the correct quality parts.

 

I havnt known chuck long but i know that he wouldnt "rig" somthing.

hmm Derek says he didn't touch "anyone elses car" and aussiesmg says "he has done a lot to help many others" and everyone here has know chuck for all these years and nothing is matching up. I was told by one of the kids best friends that has that blue FD that the electrical looked really rigged and that chuck did the work. That same guy that told me knows plenty about FDs and from the way it sound I'd still believe him. Aussiesmg if you honestly believe what you do about chuck taking time off because of helping everyone else than you havn't read this:

Chuck sold everything and left the rotary picture cause "Dana" (forum id) left his ***. Not that I needed to hear it from her but she said she got sick of him talking smack about everyone ALL the time.

"constructive critisism" lol. check out chucks thread on page "3" and tell me that is constructive critisism. Hell I was there and I heard the conversation and what he said on that thread isn't anything like what was originally said.

Look I know what chuck does. I've known he's been involved in the rotary world for long enough to get him a degree or two. I also know how much he runs his mouth and that's why I don't really like the guy. He's talked plenty of smack about my FD and how it will never beat his RX3 or how big of a piece of **** it is and that's fine if he "thinks" that. Every single rx owner that I've met has shown nothing but support and then there is Chuck with his constructive critisism.

Ask your friends about the magical spell that the chuck mod puts over their engine cause it left a rainbow colored puddle of pixy dust under EVERY car that crused into the Banzai meet the last time chuck showed up as he led them all in on one rotor.

When I originally bought my FD, everyone said go see Chuck. I talked to him for the first time at one of the Banzai meets where all he did was bad mouth Chris and others. I called him to ask him a few general rotary questions but really could never stomach is arrogance and I know everything attitude. So I stoped asking for his advice. I have heard good things about his work but damn I wouldn't want to deal with him as a person for the help.

lol he sold and parted out the rx3.... thats why its still sitting in the driveway ready to drive. wow we have some people that like to talk in this forum.

 

and i remember when you wouldnt race chucks rx3 at the last banzai we went to. hmm a 12a n/a and no one there in there fd's would run him. hmmmm i guess that shows how badass you are dude

 

What are you talking about? He did not even ask to race me. I haven't had my FD up there for the past year at the Banzai events.

He did take me out in a T2 he built that he thought would be faster than my FD about 2 years ago. Though my FD was definetly faster from the runs he did with it.

 

Chuck specifically asked me "so when are you going to race me" my reply was "when I get a new set of turbos because one of mine is making a loud wine when it spools and the car only boosts like it's on one turbo." Why would I want to risk blowing my engine racing Chuck? As with parting out the RX3, well you read what he had to say about selling it and that's not me talking. "I don't have the heart to keep it" poor guy.

I've got nothing to proove to you Derek because when it comes down to it, I will always turn more heads in my FD and I don't have to part it out because my chick left me. say what you want but there it is in black and white:
