btw Diego you cant change free food b/c less ppl coming- pay for whoever shows up. Its not like you didn't go buy food because no one may show up- its a restaurant lol
If you'd have said "ill pay for food if we get 10 members or more" in the beginning maybe i cld see it.....

i don't know what he races he just said he had a bridged 12a that put out 250hp... then said PP was pointless in road racing cause narrow power band.. So i ended my convo at that.

And I said free food. and im still giving free food. I never stated you gonna get a full meal. why would i pay for ppl to show up and just eat then leave??

Im still giving out free drinks and free appetizers.Just if your not there by the time we all start to eat then you miss out. Simple. You don't have to buy a meal, you can just eat whats at the table.
I wont have a whole cater for everyone that just gonna drop by. I can see myself spending over 50 in just that, which is cool but when ppl complain that's just fucked up. I would never expect any of you to pay out of your own pockets to feed ppl at meets, so don't expect a **** load from me.

STi intake manifold right? Are they completely different from the WRX manifold? I'm sure if they are then that the stock STi one is even expensive. Very cool though, they did the same for the valve covers on some of the higher-end Honda cars (Integra Type R, S2000, NSX, etc.). Always loved the wrinkle red. Would make a very nice addition to your engine bay Steve. Also, from the looks of it, with the mods you have, you gotta be getting close, if not there, to what power a STi puts down, right?

A usdm sti manifold won't fit but a jdm manifold would the sti's in japan only came in the 2.0 weird but true. It's just a plain wrx manifold I just want it not to look like **** lol. I would put a V8 sti manifold on but it would cost way more than it would be worth.

I will be picking up a ej255 out of a 07 wrx which is not the same as the sti motor but I'll build it better and they put more power out with less boost than the ej257 sti motor. Oh and a bigger turbo is on the way

As far as quickness with my mods I have done I was able to stay bumper to bumper with brians t2 with my clutch slipping in 2nd and 3rd. He would tell you different but he is in denial of the awesomeness lol!

I'll have it hanging with jason's car when it's all said and done

That's really weird about the manifold issue, even more weird that the STi's over there were all 2.0's. I agree though, it would be a lot cheaper just to powdercoat it instead of getting the entire manifold, especially if it's a JDM only part.

I take it that the newer WRX's are 2.5's from that engine code? I knew that the STi's were 2.5's but didn't know the WRX's were also 2.5's. Those motors come reasonably cheap?

If you can stay bumper to bumper with Brian's TII that's pretty good. I know his car is reasonably quick for sure. I'm assuming you're upgrading the clutch then soon? And did Brian ever figure out what happened that day of the meet?

They switched to the 2.5 motors in 06 so from then up they all had the 2.5. I will be replacing the clutch within the next week or so with the 02-03 tranny they break a lot easier if you put in a upgraded clutch kit so I'm basically going with a exedy stock replacement holds a little more power than stock and won't hurt the tranny.

The 255 needs rebuilt but i'm going to pick it up for 600 I'll have less than 2g in the motor build and it will be bullet proof

I've used those Exedy OEM replacement clutches and have been impressed with them. I put one in my RX-7 and in my Civic and have had great luck with them. Good quality and extremely cheap. I think my 7's clutch was 100 shipped and the Civic was like 70 shipped. Grabbed well and felt good. I'm sure it'll do you well until you upgrade.

2G's is pretty cheap for a engine that will take that kind of beating. Sounds like a great idea.

Don't know if anyone is interested but the subaru guys are trying to plan a cruise for october or the very beginning of november. It should be a pretty cool time.

I think some dates that are being thrown out are the 24th of october or the 7th of november.

Don't worry about it duder, I just sprayed it. I'm switching to a 2.5 motor next year so I didn't want to get into this one too much. I will however need you to do my trunk before winter.

Also another guy up here has the same color wrx and he wants his trunk wingless too so I figure you can make a few extra bucks and paint them both at the same time or something.
