Help In NW Indiana!!

I am in need of help with a 1989 turboII, it was practically gifted to me for $400, the car is spotless and it came with zeal coilovers. BUT... The engine bay is empty and I do not know where to start , if anyone can take a look and guide me I would be grateful. Lunch and beer included!

Yes, the tranny and differential are there, so is the ECU and engine harness. The engine harness is stripped of all insulation/protection and missing a few connectors though.

I received the engine disassembled, not sure what is missing. The engine was pulled because of the rear rotor blew due to fuel cut.

Here are my concerns:

1. What is missing from this disassembled engine and if its worth rebuilding? (housing conditions, plates, etc)

2. Tranny/axle/differential conditions

Basically need someone that knows their **** to assist me, becaue Im a noob to the Rotary world.

what are you worried about with the trans and diffy? drain ur fluids and observe color and if anything falls out. Fine particals like dust/sludge is normal, if it falls out like chunky milk its a concern and if it clogs enough u gotta pull it apart and you find chunks that you can read part numbers off of then its F'ed up! Check your CV boots on ur axles for tears/cracks.

Do what silverbulltrt02 said and post some pics up.

Shoot me a PM. If you're off tomorrow I may be able to come by to take a look. I'm just over in Schererville.
