MN Help! My husband passed away and I have his 1993 RX7. Need auto shop in St Paul, MN.

Hi, I was directed to post in this thread...my husband has been a member since 2008. He just passed away in Oct 1. I have a complicated situation with his RX7. Three years ago, he took it to a shop to have it upgraded. The shop's mechanic left the shop so the owner got stuck with a car that has been taken apart and he knows nothing about fixing it up. We had been patiently waiting for two years for him to fix the car so in the end, we were able to have him purchase the car by setting up a contract. He just started to pay us monthly this year. Now after my husband is gone, he is claiming he has no money to continue so he wants me to grab the car. It is supposedly fixed through another shop but I want to get it checked. Can somone graciously give me some shops they trust and know of about 30 miles of St. Paul, MN? At the moment, I may just lose out either way. I hope someone can help me in any way...I recalled that my husband used to read the RX7 forum and I was lucky to find this online. I took a guess that he may have signed up with this forum and he did! Thank you.

If you just need someone to do a once over on it let me know. Most tech's have a hard time with these cars for some reason.

Turblown is a good quality rotary shop if you are in need of one.

Sorry for your loss, it's always tragic to lose a family member. I couldn't imagine losing my fiance, I'd be lost.

If you need any help I'm in the area, living in Minneapolis right now. Feel free to send me an email, private message here, or click the Facebook link under my username and send me a message there. I'd be glad to help - the least a local rotary owner could do.
