XLNDRVR, JHew84; either of you know anything about OER carbs? I'm really grasping at straws over here.

Bet we could double that if we tried again.

Maybe a weekend with a 2-day autocross event? Race/bonfire party/race type weekend? See if we can drag a couple of the Canadians over? It's got the makings of a good time written all over it.

Dates would be good, I would probably bring the rx7 but autoX is always more tempting in the 2.

Then again I have 4 tires that need a good autoX to get rid of they should be set to be removed.

I saw a red touring FD with tan leather at the gas station on 68th and Whitneyville. I was driving the minivan and the kids were yelling "we have one of those at home". My sons have never seen my FD out of the garage.

No, I have two FC's, but I live about a mile from that corner. I haven't seen that FD around. Might have been passing through.

Is anybody familiar with this car? Any opinions on how it's set up (carb, header, etc.)? Thanks!

I saw a MB FD pulling off of 28th trying to get out of the construction. Looked stock with an older gentleman driving it. I tried to chase him down, but a truck full of tires pulled out in front of me. Anybody know him?

Anybody have time to go check out this FB with me tomorrow (Sat. 6/9) afternoon? I saw/drove it today, but I only half know what I'm looking at and I haven't driven another rotary that I can compare it with.

It pulls a little to the right, the radio doesn't work, and *I think* it needs some carb tuning. There's some other little imperfections here and there and it has a bunch of aftermarket parts for better or worse. Body seems pretty solid and the car is mostly clean.

Like I said, I could use a set of experienced eyes.

Thanks, Mike

Could be, I've seen it up there for at least a few months. And in those months I've seen the asking price fall from $4800 to $3800 to now $3500.

The guy has a small repair shop and it sounds like he bought it about a year ago from WMAA. His repair shop where I met him yesterday is at 1411 S Division, so that address may have scared some people away.

It's just some fine tuning of the external screws that I haven't figured out a good balance for. I'm currently running heavy on both the accelerator and float so it runs a little rich. I get good response through 3-5000 RPM but I figured tuning down a little might give me some pep in the low end.

Okay, it's only a couple of weeks notice, but there will be a 2 day AX event July 14th/15th.

Let me know if anyone is up for a weekend of racing and bonfires.

I'm going, not sure if I'll be able to participate or not though and I'll only be able to hang out for a little while during the day since I work 3rd shift on the 14th. Where's it at exactly?

Allendale, at GVSU. If you make it, look me up. I've got the red fb with the black header panel. If nothing else, I'll take you on a run so you can get a feel for it...

Does anyone have a truck and tow dolly/trailer and the urge to help me get my shell from the storage unit it is in to my house so I can FINALLY drop my engine in? The shell doesn't have front brakes so it can't be towed with a strap. It needs to be moved from 44th/Kenowa area to 28th/Burlingame area. I'm game for any sketchy half-brained ideas as long as it makes it to my house in one piece. Payment can be negotiated (beer).

I'm without truck these days, but I have been exploring uhaul options lately and overheard a guy renting a truck and tow dolly the other day for $20 each, might be an option if you have one near you.

This event is rolling around once again (8/24): 28th Street Metro Cruise

Anybody going this year? Again, if anybody from out of town needs a place to crash, just let me know. We've got plenty of room for camping, and a couple of spare couches if needed. Beer and bonfires will be going each night.
