Gingerman - April 30th Track Day - Registration Open!!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi everyone. Just a heads up for all you track junkies out there…
3BallsRacing is holding it’s first Open Track Day of the year on April 30th at Gingerman Raceway (near Grand Rapids Michigan). Last year we held three Track Days in Michigan and this year we are planning to hold more starting with this one at Gingerman. We picked Gingerman for the first event since it is one of the safest road courses you’ll find anywhere, and people can work out the rust that winter caused. Lots of run off, no blind corners, and just a lot of fun overall.
If anyone is not familer with how our events run, we run 4 groups based on Experience and your car, and we typically run 20min sessions. In addition, for the Beginner groups we have a classroom session at the start of the day while the A and B groups (experienced/inter) go on track first thing at 9:00am.
We also have a limited number of instructors for free, and they are on a first come first serve basis. They will go for rides with you, or take you out with them in their cars. (2 corvettes, Prelude (me), Lotus 7, GTO, 300ZX, and maybe a few more…)
A pizza lunch is provided also for free, and water and gatoraid is available all day long. Also free!
Race gas available at the track, we have a tow vehicle is case someone goes into the sand, 15 cars on track at once max (60 cars allowed to register) and we have flag people at all needed corners!
Cost only $140
Register at http://www.3BallsRacing.com Click register under events tab, or hit the link on the right of the page. You will need to register on the site before you can register for the event. This is so we can send mass emails to the participents that are registered for the track day.
Hope to see some of you out with us!!!

Your looking at about 2h track time or even more possibly.
We run 4 groups based on experience and car, 20 min sessions. And at the end of the day we usually combine groups when people leave early to get max track time for those who want it. Usually A and B groups combine, and C and D combine for the last hour or two of the day. We limit it to15 cars on track at once, so it's pretty wide open all the time. We don't have a problem with experienced drivers staying out and going with another group if there is a free spot on the track. We actully had a guy in an M3 stay out for an hour straight when it was raining and lots of people left early. He ended up running out of $$$ for gas,, so he had to stop
We're a pretty laid back group and try our best to make everyone have a good time. But we still keep safty in mind of course! Hope you guys come out!

Man this sounds like fun, to bad my 7 is undergoing upgrades, BNR S5 stage 2 turbo, 720cc primaries and secondaries, Megasquirt 1 V3 just to get started. I will do this during the year though.
Well, maybe by the time we go to Grattan you'll have the car done? THat think should be sick when it's done by the sounds of it! I'll make a new post for Grattan - check the sig for the date.

Hey Guys,
Just a heads up, that there's one open spot for Gingerman. We had a few people back out, and the short waiting list got pushed in, and there's 1 more spot open. Go to the www.3ballsracing.com site, and click under the events -> register and you will see the gingerman registration with the 1 open spot.
So If anyone finished their car, and has the time, this is the time to test it out!
