Wow that looks like a BAD wreck. Everyone was ok right? Another reason I replaced everything in my brake system...

+1. When I bought my car, the master and one of the main lines looked iffy, so it has a brand new master cylinder, brand new from Mazda hard line, and goodridge braided stainless soft lines. Also tore down and resealed the calipers and put on some Hawk HP pads. Vacuum bleeder + speed bleeders = STIFF pedal. Yay brakes.

And yes, both driver and passenger walked away with nothing but some scratches. If you look closely in the pictures, you can see the marks 10+ feet up the tree where the car hit it. It actually hit the grass sideways and launched up into the tree, then fell out, stuck partway down and fell the rest of the way.

I would have needed new shorts after that ride.

Anybody going to be a Winged Warrior this weekend? Azar/Beast and I will be there with the V8RX7Forum.com guys. It's a V8RX7 vs. Supra throwdown. We have one 8 second car and a bunch of 9/10 second guys. Should be fun. If you come down stop and say hi. There may be a rotary powered RX7 or two with us also.

It's in Indy, all day Saturday, and it's a road race/car show/drag race event at Indianapolis Raceway Park. Lots of cars, imports vs. domestics. I'm not competing, just watching.

DK, not that great. Mostly driver mod lacking at the moment, I can't get it out of the hole worth a damn.

12.66 and 122 mph are the best numbers, but I'm picking up over 30 mph on the back half, so it's a freight train once I get moving. Have to work on the tune down low and get the traction up a bit, right now I can't get enough stick to build boost in 1st/2nd. For the moment, I appear to have built a Mark IV Supra.
