Just wanted to let the midwest know, a couple of guys and myself are wanting to put together a meet in Wichita. Working on date and location. Hopefully we can get some numbers to show interest. Anyone interested in helping out, PM or post on this thread.

If you make it a little closer to KC then there will be better respose from us on the Missouri side. Topeka is a great place to meet.

Heck, I might be up for another trip to Wichita. I brought up my 83 a couple years back for a meet. Depending on the date, I might be willing to do it again.
Once you get a date/location nailed down, cross post in the south section. You just might get a few responses there, seeing as Wichita is only a few miles north of the Oklahoma line.

 

No problem. I should have my 85 GSL put back together by then for the trip to Wichita. Here's a teaser pic of the engine.

 

Would definitely consider the drive for another meet, I dug the one in Lawrence.

i will definitely be there as i have not missed a meet in two years now. I'm excited to finally go with my brother, with him in his OWN CAR FOR ONCE!! lol. I'm thinking Sept. 22 would be a good day. what do you guys think?

 

Looks like 15-ish right now. 13-ish from 7 club and two from 8 club.

22nd wouldn't be so bad. Are Sunday's OUT for anybody? Just checkin'.

 

Sept 22 could work for me. I have AutoX events the weekend before, and an event at Hallett the weekend after.
I'm not gonna say for sure that I will be there, should the 22 be the date you choose, but I can state 100% that I cannot make it the weekend before or after the 22.
Might even get a couple other local guys to make the trip.

OK, so tell me, what goes on at a meet? I live in north central Kansas and just bought an 88' RX7 conv., besides a few minor dings, its in great shape. I could possibly make it.
