There will be a drift event this sunday (16th) in Sheridan, Illinois. The event is open to spectators (free) but all spots to drive have been filled. Ride alongs will be allowed, but only with a certified helmet (Snell M95 or higher). Event will start around 8am on Sunday and go until about 5pm or so. I know of 2 Rx-7's (FC's) that will be there, mine being one.

hey wassup man i was the guy asked you about your car when you were putting your wheels in the durango. I didn't bring my car that day but it was at the jgtca meet. You can see the pictures on the forum. It was nice to see a tII at the drift event, but what was up with the other one?

Hehehe......I am the owner of the Red FC that you are asking about. Ricer240sx owns the Champagne colored FC. My FC wasn't registered to drive, but Dave (guy that drove the slammed Levin) wanted to drive my FC. So he took it out for a few laps. I still need to finish a few suspension mods and my car will be full blown drift ready.

I would have loved to drift mine. Dor!mon took it out for a couple laps (not sure if you seen or not) He recently purchased a TII and is in the process of building it into a track car.

Next year I'm looking to be in more events. I'll have some money saved up and a good job to back up my mod list. Need to purchase the steering angle kit and rear toe steer eliminators.
