Speeking of cars not being done, I've just come across a gem that I'm debating pushing my rebuild off for. A guy I work with has a '97 trans am with 4.11 gears, head work, cam, and exhaust for ~$4k. I'm seriously considering it...

Back on topic, pretty much any saturday works for me because, well, I don't!

I'd be willing to lend a hand. My automotive knowledge is pretty minimal, but if you need an extra hand PM me. In exchange, I'll have to ask you to impart some wisdom to this new FD owner.

Well guy's I won't be able to hang out on sunday.

Besides the roads are probably going to be covered with salt, if not snow on sunday.

I'm right by the Lansing airport just off of Glenwood-Lansing Road. You won't see me in an FD though, 'cause I haven't gotten it yet. Scheduled delivery has now been bumped back to the 13th.

Occassionally on my way to work, I've seen a VR FD driving east on North Avenue in Carol Stream, right before 355. Is that one of you guys?

Looks like I'm talking to myself, here.

I finally got my FD and am looking forward to the above-freezing temps in the next few days to take her out. Any Chi-town folks still drivin' their FDs or have you guys "stored" them?

Greets gentleman,

Just figured I'd post up to keep track of any Chi-Town meets. I'm in the area often to see family, and once my FC is reassembled this spring I'd be up to stop in at a meet and say hey. No popping the hood though.
