Saturday, if possible, for me. I have been without a phone for a couple days because I smashed mine and refuse to buy a new one until the s5 comes out on Friday. Lost touch with the world. Was nice but missed out on a couple things like requesting Saturday. If not possible I can do Sunday, but a little later in the day.

we can probably squeak you in...

In other news, mine started under e85 tonight. Only 1 small fuel leak and 1 oil leak from the turbo drain. Map is garbage but hey, it runs right?

Now just to polish off this list of final touches (cuz you know, I prefer a working tach) and ill be set to blow it all up.

FYI Road ranger in Algonquin's e85 is only 68%

Good to hear that yours is close. I have to check base timing, and do my front iron oil mod... Still waiting on parts from Mazdatrix.

Ha, mine had a fuel leak when I prime the pump after installing FFE secondary rail, the garbage fitting I waited for 2 weeks leak right out of the box, replaced it with one of my old Mr. Gasket fitting and no more leak, never buy Fragola junk again. I'm just waiting for some silicone hose to come in so I can redo my rats nest and finish installing my boost controller, then I'm ready to put everything back together.

Looking forward to this time. A lot less stress this go around.

Started the car last night and looks like I'm good to go.

So, this time I wont have to have Steve street tune my car on his way to the airport. :-/

Nice job pulling everything out so close to the wire guys!
I somehow ended up with a car more disassemble and broken than when I started. There's NO chance of me getting down there to check everything out. Damn

My car is sitting in the driveway waiting for me to get home from work. It just got exhaust completed and wouldn't start before sending it out. Hoping it's a grounded wire. Looks like no sleep tonight. I'm so unfamiliar with these cars still that I am stressin if I can get it sorted.

I'm pretty bummed I couldn't make it out. My goal was to be able to drive the FD there, but it just didn't happen. I hope she is back on the road this week.

On the flip side, I did sell my RX8 Saturday. I now have funds for wheels/tires and a 4 post lift for the garage!!!!!

Thumbs up

For me, it went really good. (my car survived the dyno)

Steve got it to 479hp and 399tq. Turbo limited by my GT4082 journal bearing @ 20lbs of boost.

The turbo was purchased back in 2006 and it looks like the seals might be close to giving up as there seamed to be a minor amount of smoke coming from the center section.

Also the motor in my car is still fresh from my first full rebuild, probably less than 500 miles on it still. Seems that my Own designed CNC porting is doing rather well, because Steve and others were saying that my turbo shouldn't of provided that much power.

Hopefully I can put a lot miles (2K-3K LOL) on it this summer. And next year continue on with my currently in design custom intake manifold and update the turbo.

Thanks to Steve, Bill, Hans, and every one else that lended a hand in this go around.

Bill and Don both lost thier motors. Unknown what exactly let go internally until we open them up

Bill was over 500 before they decided on stopping, and I believe that Don's was around 460 before they stopped.

516hp / 440tq @ 18psi before a seal let go. it cracked, not exploded. no damage to turbo, 85psi hot compression on the 1 remaining rotor face. most likely the housing is ok, ill just need to replace the rotor, apex seals and a soft seal kit.
