Exclamation Chicago area-help with ignition

All,

If anyone has an AEM ignition box lying around that they aren't using/plan to sell, whatever...please let me know. Mine just completely died and was planning to hit Rt 66 tomorrow. With mass ignition breakup, there's no way I can go.

If you have an HKS box, I'll consider that too.

I'd love to pick it up tonight if possible, and worse comes to worse sometime this week so I can not be a slouch for the BBQ cruise on Saturday.

Please PM or call me. 708-288-8762

Thanks in advance!

Christian

You always have something wrong with that car. You should sell it to someone who knows cars

BAH...

Mine's fried internally. It popped its fuse...and kept popping it. Yours scared me. It would start (or rather fire) for about 2 seconds and died. Had to shut it all the way down before it would fire again. Had to do that for about 10-15 times before it actually caught and ran. Very odd. I drilled one hole (as large as I could) and started another...helps if you have the right equipment for the job. I don't have a wrench appropriate to get that tek screw in. Maybe I need to start fabbing up little toys for mine too.
