okay here is my problem a little while ago some idoit girl backed into my car. i got two damage estimates from reputable companies about fixing the damage, the totals were $850 for fixing the bumper or $1200ish for buying a new front bumper. well today i go to the claims adjuster he decides that $550 is enough to fix it. Me and of friend of mine got most of the scratches off the bumper so now there are tow dents on it, but they arent that noticeable. i was planning to use the check towards purchasing a transmission and other needed items. i was expecting to get at least $1000 to use towards that. needless to say 550 isnt enough. and one of the shops i got an estimate from is a preferred show that they suggested i send my car too. my question is what do you think i should do?? is there anyone on here that works in or knows someone in a body shop that could get me the rest. when i called the person who handled my claim they told me the body shop can contact the adjuster and i guess get more money as needed, so could someone help me get the rest??
