I'll be pickin up an 89 gxl in Nov or late Oct. but it's got bad seals. The motor runs fine w/ some smoking, and i was planning on doing a TII swap after I sold my current car....but until then I was jw if anyone would be able to help me replace the apex seals, because right now I don't have the $$ to take it to a shop for a rebuild.

 

i have a good s5 motor i'd sell for $500.
its still in the car and you can hear it run.
car has bad cancer and is unfit for the road.

 

any idea what the compression is? if it's good [105+] I'm very interested
