WI Any Rx-7 Specialist in the area?

Hello all, I am looking for a place that I can bring my 1987 GXL RX-7 in for a tune up and close look over. Is anyone here from Wisconsin that can point me in the direction of a good place to go? I live near Appleton if that helps.

I am new to these cars and before I take her to the autocross track and destroy it I want to be sure I can drive it home after

Thanks,

You might check with Howard Coleman Home he's the only one I know of off-hand in WI. I think his primary focus is engine rebuilding, but he may offer other services or can recommend someone.

For Autocross, IMO, just make sure all your maintenance is current. New fluids all around. Focus on cooling, tires and brakes.

Also, Randy S. owner of Triple R knows quite a bit about rotaries. Something like ~15 - 20 years experience.

If you are interested in bringing your car down to milwaukee I can look it over and perform most any rotary service you may need. Pm me for details.

I was told Redline in Appleton knows rotary, also there's a place here in GB named De pere Auto that claims to work on Rotarys. But I have no experience with either. Best of luck!
