Adam or any of your other Milwaukee area gurus

Any good shows coming up in the miltown area. I wouldn't mind attending a couple more shows this season. Let me know. Anyone up for one of the Import Wars or whatever the heck they are called at Great Lake Dragaway someday too? There is one Saturday July 21st.

sadly, the carshow season is not what it used to be around here. Just a few years ago there was a show every weekend at one dealership or another. With higher gas prices and lower car sales, dealerships back less shows now. That, and, orginations like Wild Honda and TeamRush falling appart - to big orginazers, car shows have realy died out around here

The next major show is the first week in August, at Milwaukee Mile I think. It is the same day as the ALMS and Star Mazda race up at Road America. There will be very few that go to that show, most people will be up at the track at the huge import (informal) showoff. Well that and it is the Rotary Rally too, so thats where I'm going to be.

There are shows that pop up every once and a while, I'm always keeping my eyes and ears open for those.

Otherwise, there is always GLD every month. But that place is ghetto, last time I was there some punk tried to steal **** out of my car while I was standing right there!

I hear ya on the ghettoness even at the show we were at last weekend some kid must have tried opening my door or reaching for stuff in my car because when i disarmed my alarm it beeped several times telling me someone tampered with it. Not to mention the kid that sure seemed high deemed on wanting to race me... I wouldn't mind getting more information about the Milwaukee Mile one if you have a website or something. Otherwise we'll just have to try to continue with the Friday night events. I should be able to make it this Friday, just going to workout after work so I wouldn't be there until 8-9ish.
