On a lighter note, I have a "dsm" type product too; though my Colt rode the big boat over instead of being made in Illinois. I wish it were as easy to get more power out of my 1st gen RX-7's as it is out of a little Mitsubishi motor. Oh well. We all need to get together sometime before it gets much colder. I need an excuse to drive the seven anyway. spoolin93r1, I think I saw your car one time out at the lot in fern creek. You came down with some of the dsm guys from IN. Looked sharp.
Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving,
James

sorry about the white trash thing, but you know that's how dsm's are looked at in the area. but you are definately right, that little 4g63 is a cheap power maker. blevins is still runnin stock ecu on his race car and making over 500 whp. that's pretty damn impressive. yeah, that was me in the lot. i woulda stayed longer and chatted, but there was a little bit of drama between some of the ppl, so we figured it better to leave. anytime you wanna meet, lemme know where, i'll be in the area all weekend.

Has anyone else noticed the Splurge of 7's in louisville lately? It seems like everytime i turn a corner there's another one. Mostly FC's, but i saw 2 FB's on Southern Parkway when i was driving home last night. One Brown one a block south of Central pkwy, and then later up the road there was a silver one sittin at the BP station. its crazy! WHERE are they all coming from?

You have a little time before you have to really start worrying about it. I will post the schedule of events as soon as it is locked in. I am on the Solo Board here and it looks like we will have a lot of great events this year. We averaged over 100 drivers per event last year with those drivers almost always getting 5 runs a day. This year, we have two events tenatively scheduled at the airstrip on Ft. Knox and two at Bowman field!! Airstrip autox events tend to be higher speed courses with not much chance of damage should you spin and we are excited to be returning to Knox after a long hiatus following 9-11. Bowman field is a new venue we added last year and proves to be entertaining as well. Add to that all of the events at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium and Churchill Downs, and you start to see why this season is going to be a blast. For more info about our region, go to www.kyscca.org
First event will be in late March or early April.
