By who? Who is going to dyno tune a singlt turbo RX7 w/ a PFC in STL? Tune it, maybe, but dyno tune it....unless you already have an appointment and a local tuner friend who is going to come do it for you, then I don't see that happening.

I take my car out to KC to get it tuned on from a friend...I didn't know STL had any tuners that were worth a ****.

Where are you going to get the dyno tune? Do you have Datalogit? I doubt whether Mustang Muscle or Stiegemeier would be able to tune your PFC. I have dynoed at each of these places and they don't appear to be familiar with the PFC. I believe both of these shops have more knowledge with respect to piston engines. Please be careful with your AFRs and keep them in the safe range for a rotary and not a piston engine.

fwiw, I am going to Stiegemeier's tomorrow (10 am) for a few dyno runs.

Ya at the shop his friend he knows is gonna come down and do it he is sposed to be really good with RX-7s. The owner wont touch a rotary motor, makes enough money off the pistons.

I doubt its because he makes enough money off the pistons... More like he doesn't want to be liable for the RX7 blowing it's *** all over the dyno LMAO.

Hey 520hp@26lbsRX-7,

Which shop? If it's Stiegemeir's, let me know how your AFRs turn out in the higher rpm ranges from 6k and up. On my last few runs, the dyno and my wideband were drifting apart in those ranges. On the last run they were 2 or 3 AFR units off. Also, make sure he's plotting using corrected numbers vs. standard. I didn't notice until I was about to leave that all my data/graphs were in standard.

Why not? Sure not with pump gas ... but run the good stuff and you can do 26psi. Don't expect it to last very long though

Everybody has a different idea of 'safe'

I run 26psi all the time in my MKIV...I don't see what the big deal is? **** my buddies 4G63 runs 22psi on pump gas daily....you rotary people are a bunch of pussies.

ps: take your car to MC Racing in KC, talk to Nick, he knows FD's, knows PFC's, and is a fantastic tuner. Nice safe and solid AFR's, and will take his time to get it done right.
