Got the whole burnout on tape.
Be the first on your block to own this bad *** DVD of the meet.

(copied from post above)

To all that attended 2006 Kansas Rotory BBQ in Lawrence, Ks. and all that wished they were there. I’m working on the meet DVD that will be up for sale with 1/3rd of the proceeds going back into the next (hopefully this fall) BBQ Meet Fund to help with expenses. Those who attended, know that we were treated very well with the excellent food and drink (beer!). The DVD will be aprox. 30-35 minutes long and will show most all the cars there (except anyone that arrived after 5:00pm..sorry) Each DVD will be $12.00 with $4.00 going back into the meet treasury fund. These will be high quality with little or no compression. There will also be very little music, if any at all. No way will I drown out the sweet sound of the Rotary engine with music!
Also, those of you who would like their personnel pictures placed at the end of the DVD please email them to the same PayPal address below within 2-weeks. After the 2-week cutoff, all the pics I receive will be on all the DVD’s.

I have 2 orders already….who’s next?
The price includes shipping and you can PayPal me at dbckhamjr@netscape.net

Looks like your in the same boat as me. Only 15 minutes away from some BBQ and beer and missed it. Found this place a few days too late, and looks like you could of had a few more FDs show up.

Update...

The DVD project is coming along nicely. Disregard anything I said about not adding music. I put down some awesome sound tracks. Hell, even my wife said it was kick ***! I probably have 20+ hours in editing and should have it done in about a week. Waiting on more computer memory and i.link firewire adapter.
anyone interested in owning this DVD, Paypal 12.00 to dbckhamjr@netscape.net

You won't be sorry...Plus you'll be helping out with the next Kansas Rotary BBQ meet.

There sure are some nice 1st gens in those pics! Good to see all the generations represented, and by owners who obviously really care about their cars.

The white GSL-SE was particularly nice, maybe not showroom, but damn close. Also the yellow 79 or 80 FB was super clean. Despite the weather it was a great time. Another is planned for this fall, you should try to make it baja. It'd be nice to put a face with a name, and they were nice to the old guys.

You talking about my SE? THANKS! I think mine was the only white SE there.
I still admire the pic you took with the 3-1st gens.
