i am really happy to welcome Concours Motors as a partner. Concours is a Mazda dealer in Milwaukee and also sells lessor brands such as Mercedes, BMW, Porsche etc... Bill and Herb Wuesthoff started Concours in the 50s selling those funny fer-un' beetles.
Bill Wuesthoff IS Road America. he raced big time machinery against Augie Pabst, Phil Hill etc. Bill has been on the Board of Road America forever and is significantly responsible for the HUGE enhancement program at the track during the last 10 years. He is also one of the nicest people i have had the pleasure to know. Bill is semi retired and son Karl now runs the show and made the decision to partner with us.
so i am delighted to welcome Concours. they will be providing goodies for the Concours part of our weekend.
i will be announcing various additional partners over the next few weeks. we all enjoyed Cam Worth from Pettit last year.
2006 MRR will be a blast and i look forward to welcoming lots more people this year.
do make plans to be at Road America... if you have never seen the FOUR MILES that make up one lap it is worth the trip. gorgeous Kettle Morraine, fabulous track food, good company and we may even hoist a few brew-skis.
RX8s, RX7s and RX v8s all welcome.
