Arrow Wideband and Gauge Help

I need a A/F gauge for my FD. I currenty gave a microtech LT8. My tuner insists on the buying the 500 dollar dash display and wideband kit. I only want to monitor the vital aspects of my car. Currenty I have a boost gauge and exhaust temp gauge. i would prefer to just buy a seperate water temp and air to fuel gauge. Which route is most cost effective. I also have a spare laptop i was thinking about using to monitor my LT8. Are there any good quality and affordable stand alone a/f gauge and controllers?

Microtech AFR add-on

You can purchase the Bosch O2 Sensor, Microtech AFR Meter add-on without purchasing the in car display unit. Basically you would have to send it to Microtech to be upgraded, then purchase the AFR black box plus the O2 sensor from them. It is actually a very nice setup because it plugs right into your existing system. Then you will need to use a laptop to monitor your system. While you have it at Microtech you might also want to have them add the higher RPM, ECU/Data Logging features as well. It is only a couple of hundred bucks, but the information you can record is extremely valuable to your tuner.

Good Luck
