What sorce are you using for your map sensor?

Again, My car is running good, but I'm about to go get the car tuned SAT. I just want to make sure that everything is as good as it can be.

When I installed my LT, I tapped a nipple into the LIM to gave the MAP sensor it's own sorce. But, I just read that BDC recommends using the lowest nipple, on the UIM, facing the alt. He said it's the cleanest sorce for fedding the Haltech MAP sensor.

Input?

Im using a plain ol nipple on the back facing the firewall. No nipples on the front of my UIM.

Hmm, what's wrong with using the nipple on the LIM that's facing the passenger fender?

ive heard that the one i am using has the best, unrestriced view to speak of the plenum and not just one runner which can lead to vacum fluctuations.

The one near my now removed BAC valve? I'm using that one and I'm going to switch to the TB...I DO get fluctuations (what an odd word...) at idle and cruise and that's getting old.

I said before that I tapped my LIM for it but I was wrong. I taped my LIM for my TT and boost gauge. The one I was using for the MAP was another one I tapped on the UIM,BAC valve block off plate.

Anyway, after looking more into it, I concluded that the nipple I talked about in the 1st post is the best to use. Mainly because of it's stability & accuracy. I've changed it over .... we'll see how it goes.

Kinda sucks though, my tapped ports and nipples look kick *** Guess I have more power foaming ports.
