Question What should "Static" be set to???

Ok i've been reading through the Microtech manual and there is one setting i'm kinda confused about. The manual says to set the cas to 5*ATDC. That is stock timing right? I have an 89 turbo motor. Now in the setup screen what should the "Static" be set to? Currently its set to 0 like it came when I bought it. Is this correct? Oh yea, I have an LT-8, not that it matters. Thanks for any help.

Leave it as it came from the factory. However, to properly set the timing, mark the pulley 5mm to the right of the leading 5degree mark.

It Is when you follow this you will have to set static timing to 0. Hence, 5mm to the right of the Yellow Mark will be 0 ATDC.

Mark the pulley, set static to 0, then lock your timing, then set it to the new mark you made 5mm to the right of your yellow mark.
