third gen base map

Hey guys, i'm looking for a base load & crank map for my car; i recently rebuilt the motor and changed injectors from 850cc all to 1600cc secondaries, and i half-bridge ported it. i can't get the thing to start, and i was just looking for a baseline map so the thing will fire up, and i can tune it from there. i turned the fuel pressure regulator to about 35psi. i'd really appricate any help, as i said, i'm just looking for a baseline 'cause i've gone through one starter and a set of spark plugs already... wants to start, but i just can't get the fuel right. thanks.

your post confuses me.

so you have 2 850cc and 2 1600cc?

or 4X1600cc?

My map techinically isnt going to make your car start.

Take the spark plugs out.
Squeeze some oil in to the leading holes(front and rear rotor). then stick the plugs back in it. put my map in it. see how you go.

my map wont flood your engine.
Did you try some oil in the spark plugs? that will eliminate the need to pull start.

Are you running an lt10? Did you had to put any resistors on the injectors or it didnt need it? Also do you have the x4 box for the coils?

you need a proper wide band sensor.
What makes you think its running rich?

You use the load map to lean out both cruise and WOT and the idle map to adjust the idle.

Sorry, i sent it twice, ill try again now.

Here's the message i sent anyway incase it doesnt go through.
Thanks a lot hey.

Base map for GT35R FD

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,
thanks in advance for your time. It's really nice to see someone who knows that microtech system helping guys out so much, good on ya!

I'v got a 93FD, fresh motor still running atm.
Street Ported
GT35R (0.64 a/r hot side)
MicroTech LT10s (Im using a dynojet wideband for AFR off one of my race bikes, abt the best wideband system you can buy)
Stock injectors
Pettit Coolcharge SMIC (AIT abt 45degC/113degF)

It's battling to hold a steady idle for longer than abt 5sec before it leans out, big flat spots as you touch the throttle it leans out, then super rich. Main problem im having is when its in vacuum, AFR is all over the show and stumbles a lot.

What are the ideal AFRs for boost and vacuum?

Is there a process I need to go through to save the map to the ecu once I'v typed all the values in? Or do i just unplug the laptop and dongle?

Thanks,
James81

Ok i got that pm.

It would be easier if you can do a screen capture of your existing map. And i can fix it up for ya.

connect your laptop and do a screen capture of EVERY SINGLE MAP and ill tell you what to change.
