sequential ignition LT8S
I've searched here, but just want to confirm. I know there are seperate channels for the leading ignition on an LT8: http://www.microtechefi.com/pdf/LTX8...3BTS4-5ign.pdf
So my question is, if you wire up a set of aftermarket coils, set the dwell and everything else, are they already set to fire sequential, or is there an option on the programming that I missed? Looking to run a pair of MSD LS1 coils on the leading, and want to be able to run the most dwell possible without burning out.
Also, any opinions on these coils compared to stock FC twin-tower with an ignition amplifier, which would be better?

Im sorry mate. BUT LT8S ONLY HAS ONE CHANNEL FOR LEADING AS IT RUNS WASTED SPARK.
Your looking at mtx8/ltx8 diagram.
DIFFERENT COMPUTER.
I have not found ls1 coils to be any better then mazda coils. Waste of money in my opinion.

Damn. Thanks mate, the only diagram they have for the 13BT is the LTX8, I always thought they were essentially the same. And the LS1 coils I have are the MSD replacements, they're meant to be pretty strong, I'll test them out someday when I get a new EMS...
