O2 sensor question
my question is if somebody have try to hook up a wideband o2 sensor on a microtech before? just curius because im planning to do my own tuning, yeah i know let it to a profesional doit but i wanna say that i can doit too plus im been doing alot of research for the past year and i think i can do the tuning, but anyways i know microtech have a 1 wire hook up, just wondering if theres any way can hook up a wideband o2 sensor, if not what A/F meter is recomendable to use for tuning? thanks

Eddie, not banging on ya, but had you been doing a lot of research you would have come across the answer to this question... 
Seriously, do a search in this forum about wideband or something and it will turn up. Basically what you'll see is the LT8 models will only accept a 0-1v signal (narrowband). I'm not too familar with the other models, but it's my understanding that the LT12 will take the 0-5v signal a WB puts out. There are ways to 'adapt' a wb sensor to get to the 0-1v signal you'll need -- search and you'll see lots of opinions, theorys, and thoughts.

Supposedly some of the WB controllers can simulate a NB signal... Apparently there are some that can even map voltages which you could probably use to get pretty near to linear...
I can neither confirm nor deny this with actual experience -- this is just what I've interpreted from reading many posts on the topic. I personally have elected to go w/ a TechEdge WB which has a NB simulated output (0-1v). I have yet to determine how much control I have and if it will be linear -- however in my opinion, it can be no less accurate than a NB. In either case it should be as good (but hopefully better) than a plain-jane NB sensor hooked up to the LT8. At the very least I'll have a true WB display from the TechEdge and then hook the LT8 into it for a 'simulated' WB signal and see how close it is...
