No spark. How to wire without x4 box?

Hello all. I put a s5 swap in my 85 and I am using the LT10 ecu. I had thought that because I am not using the x4 box that I simply don't use any of the wires for that plug on the ecu. Well I'm not getting spark and based on this diagram it looks like I am supposed to use them anyway, just without the x4 box. This correct? If so they didn't even include the wires to do this with...

(my CAS wiring is definitely correct, I did wire it according to the sensors colors not the plug)

the diagram is for an LTX ,, this ecu has the igniters built into the case

LT ecu has no igniters and relies on either the x4 box ( external igniters ) or inbuilt igniters in the coils themselves

for older mt/LT they may only have one leading spark output ( wastespark ) intended for stock coil packs
they also have a toggle signal for the trailing coil pack if the software comes up as s4 or maz mode
if s6 or FD they have individual trailing signals for r1 and r2

if you have LTs ( s= sequential ) then it will have two leading output trigger wires to trigger either the x4 pack or the igniters inbuilt into other modern coils ( like ls1, ls2 etc )

to conclude
if your software ID and config pages comes up as maz mode or s4 ,, and you lack the extra leading trigger output,, then you need stock FC coils ( igniters inbuilt in coil base )

if it comes up as FD then you need the FD igniter and a twin post coil and two single coils
( usually FC for trailing coils,, but bypassing the FC trailing igniter )

if it comes up LTs sequential,, then you need the x4 pack ( and 4 dumb individual coils )
or you need 4 Ls1 or 4 Ls2 coils ( or similar coils with inbuilt igniter )
