New Microtech website

I'm proud to announce the existance of BR7 Racing's website! It's got a sampling of wiring diagrams and specification sheets for Microtech's product offerings.

I also want to get a section of pictures of existing setup alongside dyno charts, etc. If you'd like to be featured, drop a post here and I'll get in touch w/ you once everything's in place.

The address?

http://www.br7racing.com, of course!

hmmm, I may be interested in putting my car up on your site, it's gonna be awile though as I haven't even fitted the engine to the datsun 510 chassis yet, I will let you know when I fire her up. Nice site btw, are you still planning on posting up some maps along with the list of mods the map is based around? That is once people get their car's fine tuned of course.

Is there a plug in harness adapter for the S4/S5 as well?

Nope, sorry, just for the FD. But trust me, you don't want to keep that stock harness anyway!

I don't think anyone would argue with you there. My reason for asking has to do with SCCA rules and regulations. If I understand the rules correctly, I can run any engine management as long as it fits in the stock ecu enclosure. I think I have to keep the stock harness, though, which complicates things. I'm slowly prepping a car for ITS if anyone knows that answer to that one.

We've been looking into that, and have yet to come to a satisfactory interpretation of IT rules. The ECU itself will easily fit into a stock enclosure (see Silver88GXL's pics), and it works with all of the stock sensors, so the harness is the big remaining question.

We've already got a contingency plan for if it turns out that the stock harness must be retained.

Define " stock harness"

Follow me on this, take the stock harness, filet it open, rerun all the wires needed for the MT in the harness, rewrap: Viola`. The only concession is having to splice into the stock connectors, since the plug is not available any more
