New to Microtech

Have a few questions! I Just bought a new to me (used) Microtech LT10S ECU w/harness and laptop dongle. I recently found out the previous owner had the setup installed on a Ford Festiva. I understand that this box may not control the bac valve (un-purchased option) but what I am more afraid of is that is not configured/not user configurable for RX7 13BT S4. Am I going to be forced to ship this box to Microtech to have it re-configured for my car? Or will I be able to re-configure it through use of provided laptop software. One other question I have is is it worth it upgrading to the X4 ignition box or stick with the stock S4 FC3S Coils.

If changes are necessary for this Microtech to perform properly on my car is it even worth while sending it back to Australia for modification or should I just sell it and find a)another EMS system b)Find the correct Microtech for my application.

Thanks in advance!
Keith
