need to upgrade ignition

hello, i have a 87 TII puttin down around 420whp and im running the microtech LT10s unit and im thinking its time to upgrade my ignition, right now the ignition is bone stock and it seems to break up often and its getting rather annoying plus this ignition is now 20 years old so its beat... Im kinda a newb when it comes to ignitions so i need to know what i should do. What is the microtech X4 ignition box for? what type of coils or ignition boxes do i need?

If i was you.

Id get the X4box.

2X bosch hec715 coil packs

2X crane hi-6 boxes and lx92 coil packs.

Ultimate ignition system for any power level.

X4 is just for having direct fire.
No crane boxes and lx92 coil pack are for leading(one box and coil each lead)

And 2 bosch coil packs are for trailing.

The x4 box also gives you extra power on your trailing. Giving you a pretty tough setup.

Will just an X4, two MSD Blaster SS coils on leading, and two stock trailing coils work? Do I need those crane boxes?

The above will work.

Crane will work better and allow you to run richer mixtures without loosing HP which means a safer tune.
