need help, wont start again...

Ok, my setup: 13b-re, gt35r, LT8, 850cc primaries, 1600cc secondaries, walbro 255, exhaust intake, etc.

Ok I've had this problem before, and fixed it before, but don't remember. Anyway during crank the ST or MS of the injectors is between 8-9 depending. I'm pretty sure that is too rich for the 850s I have. Anyway I try to start her and she tries to catch for like a second but then dies out and just floods itself. I unflooded it so many times (pulled plugs cranked engine, cleaned plugs, spray a little ether in there) and same thing, just catches for like a second.

Tried messing with the mixtrim taking out fuel, and the af-ste (or whatever it is) to lower the ST or MS of the injectors during crank.

I dont wanna try pull starting, the last time I did, it felt like 50HP like running on one rotor, no power, until I keep revving it up.

I'm out of ideas, someone please help out. Any sure way of starting up? I know my timing might be way too retarded could that be the problem?

Your starting enrichments depend on the idle map, so that needs to be happy before you can fine tune your starting.

8 mS is close, but doesn't sound like enough to me to get a reliable start every time. I generally end up with around 11-12mS on 720CC primaries. Loads of fuel gets stuck to the port walls during a cold start...

So try this...First, incrase your crank values and try to start the car after being sure it's not flooded. Does it help? If so, leave it and work from there.

If not, then decrease the values (after unflooding) and try again. Does it work?

The AF-STE is after start enrichment as I recall (don't have the manual handy) with is what keeps the engine running for those first few initial sections. It will again depend on having a good crank map, and good idle map.

If the engine fires easily but dies within a second, look at the after start enrichment.
