i copied this from another post, but i have alot more questions. is this bad for the motor? do i have to adjust any other settings on the ecu? like timing or fuel?

you need to hook up the aux input wire to a switch and earth the other side of the switch, the in your aux setup there is a rev cut option in there, set this to where you want and when you hit the button this will become active!
you can hook it to your clutch as well for flat shift up changes,

It can definitely hurt the motor depending whats inside. If you have mazda 2mm apex seals AND or mazda 2mm corner seals i dont recommend it.
