CAn someone tell me what the MTX8 unit uses for sensors? Does it utilize the factory mazda sensors or do sensors have to be bought? IE coolant, tps, mass air. The whole point of going stand alone is to eliminate things like the the stock mass air which is obviously a major restriction in a stock rx7.

My mechanic is not familiar with microtech's and was curious to know what sensors it uses so he knows everything when he wires it up.

FYI i'm running a S4 13bt

 

The microtech utilizes the stock sensors. It does come with a map sensor in order to replace the maf. At least that is how my lt12 came. I wired that to my supra a while back. For that reason is why I went with the microtech. It used all of my stock sensors.
