MTX8 Help please

I have just recently bought a new mtx8 off of a forum memeber and I didn't relize that it was the one that needed coils. Is there any possible way to use this setup with the stock coils. I also have a crane hi-6 ignition system could I use that if the stock coils won'y work. Thank yo so much in advance.

I found out that you need at least two of the crane boxes with microtech. So is there any way at all to use stock coils with the ltx8. I am helping a budy and he has dumped a ton of money already and I am trying to just get him on the road for now.

sell the crane on eBay and use the money to buy coils...all you need is $160 for all four coils, then you wont have to deal with mounting a (few) crane box(s), which you dont need with a microtech anyways.
To answer your question, I really have no idea if you can run the stock coils. imho, it's not worth the risk of damaging something trying, sorry man.

Get rid of the crane boxes.

Use either 4 X HEC 715 Bosch coils. OR 4 s4/5 trailing mazda coil packs(without ignitors).
