Mounting the box(rubber or solid?)

where do most of u guys mount ecu itself?i figure u would kinda want it visable cuz of the 3 lights.but im not sure if there is enough harness for that.do u put it on rigid mounts or did u use rubber isolators?

also,what is that little thing that looks like a headphone jack on the side with the lights?

I've seen them mounted on the passenger side kick panel area
or inside the glovebox

I have mine mounted on the stock ECU bracket

Thats for reprogramming done only at MicroTech at the moment
there working on having having dealers do it in house
no ETA yet

last question,can u look at the maps stored in the ecu with the ecu out of the car(like if u dont have a laptop)?.

mine is in the glove box makes for easy access to plug into.
