Exclamation LTX8 Idle problems

My idle is really bad. It idles alright for a few seconds, then drops way down killing the motor. If I turn up the idle to like 1500rpm, it idle's there for a few seconds, then drops way down (maybe to 500) for a few seconds, then it goes back up and repeats this over and over. While looking at the timing on the laptop, it shows 15, then 0, then the idle drops, it goes back to 15, the idle raises, then 0 and it drops. What could be causing this?

I need to get this thing running before Sevenstock!

Thanks

It's too rich. Pull some fuel from the idle map in the effected vacuum ranges.

Thanks Aaron! I figured the idle was too rich but got confused when I saw the timing fluctuating between 15 and 0. I'll get my friend to adjust the idle mixture and report back.

Sounds like too things. If your timing keeps going from 0 to 15.
Your tps is flickering between 0 % and a number over 0%.
calibrate your tps correct.

Then the car sounds like its hunting. if its hunting id say its lean.

Thanks, I will look into that as well as soon as I get a chance. Hopefully I get alot accomplished on my car this week. The countdown to Sevenstock has begun.
