so while i was trying to figure out a way around the staged AI and being able to use the 2 step for launches i figured i would send to the source and see what their take was on it since all LT8s in standard configuration use a fuel cut instead of an ignition cut which would be unsafe if the AI is triggered when the turbo is spooling up.

in short they told me the EMS can be reconfigured to use an ignition cut vs the standard fuel cut to take care of this issue:

What might be a better idea would be to send the ECU back & have the 2 step changed to an ignition cut.
If the Microtech is using the fuel cut to stop RPM the ignition will still be running & anything combustible will most likely burn & burn super lean.
The "S" series computers have the ignition cut available which I think will be the safest option

so while i am having the ECU reconfigured for a 3 BAR map i will have them switch it over to ignition cut as well for the alcohol injection/2 step to work together.
