Are your leadings sparking? Just losing trailing spark wouldnt cause the car to not run.

time to pull out the trusty multimeter.

check the CAS wiring at the point it terminates at the computer. make sure that all of your connections are still in good shape. all joints should be soldered with good penetration either shrink wrapped or e-taped. efforts should also be made to isolate soldered joints from flex and vibration. check all of your ignition coil wires (power and signal) for continuity as well.

while cranking the vehicle check to see if there is a blinking red light on your microtech. if ther is then there is a fault code stored. boot up your software or your hand tuner and find the error check screen. this is all well documented in the instruction manual and the screens are all self explanitory.

I have a similar problem, with the lt 10s. I have no leadings most of the time, with the rear leading firing every now and then. Sometimes perfect for a few minutes. Engine still starts and runs, but it's firing only on trailings.
Wiring is good to all coils, and wiring from the CAS is correct, no err codes. Also all the coils are functioning. Tried 2 different crank angles.. Why just the trailings?

Ok now.

FIRST GEN MAN. Make another thread so i can post in yours and not confuse the other dude.

as for the original problem.

When a car dosnt start.

First thing to check IS.
Is the microtech green light on while cranking and on ignition?
If yes. Great.
Now check if the ORANGE light is flashing on crank?

Answer these two questions. then we can go from their.
