Lightbulb lt8 install on 88t2 (regarding coils)

i am wiring up the coils on my 88t2.my question is does the tan wire(the one that needs to see 12v and goes to the fuel pump relay, its a black wire on the harness attatched to the car) coming out of the coil.does that black wire see 12v?like can i just T the pink wire into the black wire and then just run the pink to the fuel pump relay?

if this is confusing ill try and post the wiring diagram.

thanx alot fella's

i think i understand what you are saying....that the tan wire turns into the black wire after the connector? And you want to run the FP relay pink wire off this? If so then that is how mine is wired up.

I have no idea what you are trying to ask but I can make a guess. You are looking for a place to connect the pink wire? I've always connected mine to the black/yellow wire at the trailing coil.

I think hes asking if he can connect the pink wire to one of the TAN wires coming off the T coil.

The tan wire provides power to the ignitor, so he can't just connect the pink wire to the tan wire. The tan wire sees 12V from the black/yellow wire in the harness when the key is set to IGN. If the tan wire is used to switch the microtech on and off, then the connection should be made to the harness instead of the ignitor directly.
