lt10 upgrade

I just shipped the ecu to microtech,
for the following upgrades,

35psi map sensor,

configure for X4,

get the X4 box,

configure for wide band, I use the NGK AFX,
the AFX has a 0-5V, linear analog output for AFR,

get the IAC valve option,

add one more injector staging for
2 more 160lb injectors

r there any other options worth upgrading?
hope they wont take to long to send it back

thanx

thats is def not going to be a cheap upgrade right there...
for as much as that is costing you, couldnt you have just bought like a haltech e11v2 for just a little more?

well never used haltech but have few local guys thet use them and they have nothing more then head aces,

plus I am taking advantage of the great current exchange rates,
so all these r not costing me more then $500us with shipping

yes it is,

I alost went with link g4 ecu, but was scared to try something new,

michrotech has been great and simple for power, tune and install

only was bad about idle control, especialy with texas weather ac on and off,

hope this upgrades will fix that

well microtech they r about to send the unit back hopefuly before they close for the holidays,

took them forever to get it, stuck in customs,

they r covering everything except the extra staging for the 3rd set of injectors,

they said that feature is only available to lt12,

I wonder whats the most whp I can get with 2x1000cc saturated & 2x160lp injectors on e85,

and is there other way to hook up 2 more injectors with michrotech like run
2 more 400cc saturated @ same time with primaries, e 85 requires 40% more fuel
so that will be same like running 1000cc primaries only on regular gas,

What you could do if you have an extra output that you are not using you could hook up a NOS selenoid and nozzle and have it come on at a certain rpm and boost for the extra fuel , you would have to play with the jetting . This is what alot of the big HP cars are doing

as much as it takes to hit @ least 500whp on mustang dyno on e85,

I did 446whp on a dynojet @15psi with pump gas,

plan to run anything below 25psi as long as I have fuel,

no more than 25psi or 550whp no meter if I have more fuel later on

I am running gt4094r turbo with big street port

I would think with your set up, you should be above 500 to the wheels. With a similar set up i hit a little over 400rwhp at 16 psi on a mustang dyno. This using a HKS T51S turbo.

ok guys I will start to put it back togeather hopefully in the next few days,
I ordered another set of 1600cc injectors so was wondering did anyone run them paralel 4x 1600cc I wonder if the staging can be cleaned up with 2x1000cc primaries on e85,

or should I order additional injector controler like split second or mf3

http://store.tlsperformance.com/spsetimaco01.html

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=270233371801

or any other options on how to drive the 2 extra injectors

thanx again & happy new year guys

that will be great,

got the computer and the x4 back, didnt get a chance to go through the diagram,
taking a glimpse at it it didn't say anything for idle control eather, all I saw was aux air highlighted on the diagram, will that be the wiring for the IAC?

need to take the xtreme LIM injectors plugs, drill the fuel rail and make bracket for the coils and I'll start the wiring,

thanx

and where do u recomend installing the x4box,

so far I have not much room for the coils eather where stock used to be wich I dont like that hot spot or on top of the intercooler and run long wires will that be a problem, not sure if I wana ditch the cruise control and place them on that spot

also what kind of plug wires do u recomend withe bosch coils

I dont know what you guys have available to you in terms of brands.

As long as their are silicon supressed and at least 8mm then your in the clear.

X4 box can go were ever you want, keep it away from heat, i usually put it with the ecu. Make sure the ground wire of the x4box goes directly to the block!

Wont use a hold up.

You will use the yellow/black wire to fire the second stage(double up on the same trigger) and orange/black to fire the third stage.

Let me get back to you on the settings.

having the coils their is fine. Use some good healthy wire straight from solid 12v, either starter motor or battery. Dosnt have to be igntion triggered.
