LT 8 from FC to FD

I got a deal on an engine from a FD Right now Im running an FC with LT8 Can I keep same the microtech. How do I wire the CAS the Fd has a trigger wheel and the fc has a CAS?

Dude, u may have to send back the ECU to get re-configured for use with the series 6 triggers....go to their web site ...

I'm in a similar situation. Told by Tim at Microtech that the unit needs to be sent back to them and for $350 AU they will reconfigure, +$25 shipping each way. If you find out sometihing else, please let me know.

I dont know why they have to go back, The 2nd and 3rd gens both have HALL (magnetic) type Crank Angle Sensor, just in different locations. They should be about to just reprogram it.

I incorrectly stated that "both have HALL (magnetic)" I meant to state that they both have Reluctor (magnetic) and not Hall(optical).
