LT-8 error LED (red) need some help.

Hey guys, what's up. I just have a few quick questions regarding this particular Engine management system.. My mechanic told me that my TPS is out of adjustment and than explained how to properly set it, no big deal there.

I am having a 2 second ON 2 second OFF steady blink from my red LED. Mechanic insists is the TPS but i'll drive the vehicle to regular operating temp than shut it off and set the ignition key to the "ON" position. Yellow LED will come on steady while setting the TPS (which means it's set properly) however I still cannot get the red LD to turn off.

THanks for any assistance,

Markus

go to the data screen and scroll through to the error check find out which one shows the message "err" under it instead of "ok"
that will be the reason the light is on

Make sure your plug wires are not too near your CAS wires.

As Stupid as this sounds, I do not have access to my data management screen.

I'm "Locked out".. On another note i've chcked to see if the plug wires are anywhere near or around the CAS wires and they are not. so that cannot be the case..

I'll keep checking i suppose. Any other info or idea's would be great.

THanks, Markus.
