Low load tuning help

I'm trying to clean up the idle a little bit at the low load (free rev) sections to get a feel for how the microtech LT12 works before I move on to cruise adjustments.

car 88 GT3574 550 primaries 1650 sec

1) I can tune the idle to about 13.5:1 any more than that and AFR doesn't seem to move or at least fast enough and then it dies. So I put it around 12.9-13.1 ish. I'm good here.

2) Moving onto low load in N rev 1500, 2000, 3000, 4000. I see I'm in the ~ -18 load bank but no matter what I do under the load map it does not seem to change from 11.4 AFR and you can hear it miss a little bit. If I go to mix trim and take fuel out across the board I find 1500 likes -5%, 2200 likes -18%, 3000 likes -18% and 4000 likes +5%. How come I can get a significant change in AFR and run quality using mix trim but can't seem to move it with the load screen? Obviously this is adjusted somewhere I just cannot find where.

It appears you are in Matrix mode?

MixTrim is evil, don't use it.

Is your TPS set correctly? If it is wrong, you may be reading off of the idle map.

No Aspec tunned the car using normal mode.

I like using mix trim to quickly see if it wants more or less fuel. Not the right approach?

TPS seems right on. As soon as I get into the throttle a little bit to bring up the RPM the status box goes from idle to -

What is your fuel pressure? If it's too high, you might not be able to get those primaries low enough with a 99% %Stage.
