Hey guys/gals,

I just picked up a Microtech (ltx-8). I got 3 bar map sensor, Bosch coils, wiring harness and laptop adapter software.

I will be running it in a GSL-SE with a FD engine.

My setup kind of looks like this:
REW engine
a1000 fuel pump
full stainles lines
aftermarket secondary rail w/ 1600cc injectors
modified primary rail w/ an fittings, running 850's
HKS cast manifold
HKS 40mm wastegate
greddy elbow w/ turbonetics BOV
AF61 turbo
...and of course a microtech.

I was wondering if anyone has used a microtech with a AF61? I will be getting the car professionall tuned, but the closer I can get to the final tune the less money it will cost me.

Well just thought I would poke my head in and say hello since I will be hanging out here a little more often.

first off, welcome to the community secondly...i think you have the first af61 w/ microtech so, have a really good tuner and post maps! lol... anyway, remember to overlook the arrogance that occasionaly rears it's ugly head around here.

 

hahaha...I had a feeling that with a higher costing system that I might get some of that.

I have a tuner all lined up I just have to finish the install. I am not sure if he is ok with me posting his maps but I am more than willing...

i'll be runnning a LT10S with the AF61 on a 13b-re in an 10ae!

 

When do you plan on having it up and running? I still have quite a while before I am in the tuning phase. What is your setup?

 

Is it realy HIS maps??? Don't you pay for the mapping/tuning???

 

You know I have not really got that far into discussion with him. I just know that there are some tuners that really do not like their secrets spread around. He seems like a really laid back guy and I am sure that he will have no problem with it but I don't want to make any promises and not be able to come through for you guys/gals.
