Innovate LM-1

Several people have said its better tuning with a wide band set up or its necessary. My question is; how much better is it since the MT reads wideband with a narrow band o2 sensor, or am I misunderstanding this concept. If someone could explain this to me, I would be greatful. Also, would it be better to run a wideband o2 sensor all the time? I'm about 1" and a half from owning the LM-1 and XD-16. I'm still having rich idle issues and now I'm not boosting anything over 2lbs. I'm looking for answers while I'm still looking for a place to dyno. Thanks

Thumbs up Look at Computech Systems, Inc.

This company makes very good sound reliable EGT meters that will help you tune your car better than using a AFR Meter. Most Dyno shops have AFR Probes that usually come with your Dyno sessions included in the cost of your dyno time. Majority of the Dyno shops I have ever been to do not offer EGT Meters or probes to install in your turbo down pipe to monitor how much heat you are producing out of the turbocharger. Using a EGT Meters is much more accurate than using AFR Meters from my experience. Rotaries can run really rich and make tons of power so be careful with using the AFR Meters.

Using one of the Computech Systems is nice because you can watch the EGT meter while tuning, just make sure you stay under 1400 to be safe. With some of the better Apex Seals on the market you can go as high at 1500, but you are running on the edge of breaking so just be careful.

Good Luck
