At 18* advance the motor is pinging (N/A) with below 13.5:1 AFR's... could the microtech be seeing double timing? (twice the advance it reads?) I would search more but im on a friends computer and have limited time any help or suggestions accepted. Thankyou for your time.

you probably havent set the base timing correctly, so when the microtech is showing 18deg it could actually be anything
