I'm in alaska so for starters i don't have dyno numbers nor have ever had it on a dyno...

My question is can i run the LT8S directly to the coils.. My old setup that worked with the plug and play harness was 4 jacobs C4 coils, with the HKS twinpower.. having some sort of electrical component failure last year i had the car rewired.. (painless style).. But just before i did i put in my own wiring harness and couldn't get the car to rev over 3000rpm without it sounding like a gun fight with all the back firing.. So my question is do i need anything more than what i have, i'm not looking to make 600hp as i'm sure i'm already around 450 give or take... Just want a reliable ignition setup that i can wire into the Microtech... if anybody needs anything more just lemme know...

 

Use factory coils. For that power level you dont need anything more. Lt8s can only drive factory ignitors and coils.
