I think you should be running 0% and with the large 1600cc primaries you mite be able to set your staging point higher like 4000rpm and 00'' vac or even 2psi. this is just my oppinion. ive also considered trying large primaries.

no, if i remember correctly you want 4 injectors of the same size to have a 50% stage value. once the secondaries begin to outflow the primaries you need to step up the %stage value.

Would a good way to check your staging be to set the percentage stage then say rev it up to 3k in neutral and lower the MAPstg until it its lower than 20hg or whatever vacuum your pulling and continue to change the staging number until your AFRs are as close as they can be at the switch?

I tried this with 95% stage with 550s and 1680s. AFR dropped from 13.8 to ~11 with a huge stumble in between. During wot (t2 motor set up N/A as of now) with my MAPstg set at 4hg and at 1500 rpm it would drop to well below 10:1 from 13:1 at 5 hg. Because of this I had to have the same value for injector ms for 0hg as I did for 5hg in order to get ~11 at wot.

anyone have any suggestions on injector staging running a 750/1600 combo??

My rev stg is at 1320 and map stg is 2hg. I've been playing around with the staging % but can't get rid of the hiccup...

what is your opt_stg% at?
make sure its at 50%.

also can you give me a glimpse of your load map, interested in load 05HG and LOAD 00HG

Also from my experience, the quality of the primary injectors makes a big difference to how a car stages, ive found with high impedence 800cc injectors and 1600cc secondaries they stage beautifully.

were as with low impedence 880cc or 720cc with no amount of tuning have i been able to get rid of a staging miss.

I have played with my staging from about 70-95%(i was under the impression that with a big gap like i have the higher the % the better) I will check 50% and see how it works. And from there ill get the load map to you. Car wont be running again until around thursday....alternator bracket/pulley problems.

These are the exact injectors I'm using, sounds like from your experiences they might need to be swapped out.

ok so i understand the stageing - though the manual does read differently.

but what i would like to know is once the secondaries come on, what do the primaries do? are both injectors working equally? aka does the fuel map after the stage point control both injectors the same?

The answer to your riddle lies in the 1st post in this thread. I hope that by now you figured this out but if you hadn't here it is:

example.......
you have the map stage set at 05",the rpm stage at 3000rpm & the % stage at 50%.Below these points you will be running only on your primary injectors.Say the millisecond value at the current load point is at 1.00m/s,with the stage set at 50% you will in actual fact be running 1.5m/s but only on the primaries.
Once you go above 05" & 3000rpm & the secondary injectors become active, the primary injectors return back to normal (1.00m/s) and all 4 injectors will be running 1.00m/s.

Hope this helps...
