Hints for a newbie - please!

Hi all;
I "have the $hits" (aussie expression - dont know if you use that in the US ) with my stock computer, and i am really considering putting a microtech LT8s in my series 7 FD (with the associated plug and play loom).

Can anyone point out any possible probs i may encounter on my new adventure. I would love my install and tuning to go as smoothly as possible, so i am probably going to get it done at a performance shop (and dyno on the spot).

But before I do, i just thought i'd ask... Is there anything that im going to miss with the new ECU? And are there any probs/quirks I should be aware of going to this aftermarket ECU?

Thanks for your help guys and gals, im just trying to make an informed attempt.
Sco!
