Is it hard to install

OK im getting a mircotech computer the lt10s and i wanna know is it hard to install yourself, i am fairly mechanically minded so is it much off a challenge?

Also when i install the lt10s will i be able to drive on the base map they give me or is it not worth trying?

And if not would it be possible to leave the stock computer plugged in so i can drive it. The reason is i live 4-5 hrs away from a rotary tuner and so they would want a couple of days with the car if i install it they may only need a day.

cheers

I don't know yet maybe the tuner i was going to take the car to or look around for the best deal. I would like to find a good deal that has everything that i need ie all the wires, computer, coils ect.

ok so can you drive on the base map or should i just leave the stock ecu plugged in until its tuned
